Here's the story:

Okay, he's only *talking* about it, it's not government policy, but I am dismayed that someone would THINK that way (what about those who don't have mobile phones?).

I am sure criminals would avoid detection, anyway.

With some of the proposals over time, I really do feel like I'm living in an Orwellian environment. Again, I know this is just talk, but politicians do love to legislate (and judges can be influential).

Try not reading the Daily Mail, Robbie and your life might be a bit less 'dismaying'.

I don't read it, Leigh, that was one link sent to me. I don't buy any newspapers, I think most of them are divisive and a waste of paper.

I get my news from various sources, that way i hopefully
get a balanced view, and always taken with a pinch of
salt.We get a selection of newspapers provided free in
our lounge at work, so i skim through them all, then
there`s the internet etc.In ten years time i guess the
vast majority will own mobile phones, but doubt they
could legally make it compulsory to carry one, what if
you forget it? The battery dies etc? They might as well
just chip us!
