Very sad. First saw her in THE GREAT WALDO PEPPER. An ideal Lois Lane.

It is sad news, my condolences to her loved ones.

She gave such depth and conviction to Lois Lane. SUPERMAN IV isn't a good film, but even in that, there was the touching scene where she gave Superman's cape to an "ill" Clark Kent - and perhaps, in a roundabout way, told him she knew his secret (maybe).

I was just watching a little Youtube video about Superman's impact over the decades, which included the infamous You've got me? Who's got you?!? clip from Superman The Movie. That always felt like the perfect response to the situation.

I can still see my old man weeping like a baby in the old Menlo Park movie theater in Edison NJ during that scene in 1987.

RIP Margot Kidder

Let me just add... Margot Kidder and Christopher Reeve defined Lois & Clark on the big screen and led the way for future interpretations.

Lois Meets Clark scene

I'll definitely be watching some Superman movies this week.

Color me shocked and incredibly sad as well when I read this news.  It seems that every generation has "their" Lois Lane and she was mine.

Her portrayal of Lois Lane is the live action
Lois for me. She was scheduled to be at the Motor City
Con this weekend, glad I got to meet her (I think at
that same show?) several years back.

She was almost at a con I attended once, but  had to cancel when she got an acting job that coincided.

Sad news.
