Even as a kid, I thought some merchandise was bizarre. I loved toys and figures, but when one sees a Hulk automobile or a Dan Dare frisbee, well looking back it feels so cynical!

You guys had it soft! In my childhood daze, the closest we could get to comics and movie tie-ins was crappy plastic Halloween costumes -- Batman with "Batman" printed on his forehead, f'rinstance!
