This show keeps quietly churning out entertaining episodes.  One of the few Book-to-TV adaptations that doesn't radically or arbitrarily deviate from the source material (but also doesn't find it necessary to mirror every little detail to its detriment).  Book readers can watch for the brilliant performances and yet still be surprised by the adaptation's storytelling solutions.  This is one of my few "appointment TV" shows remaining in this age of ubiquitous viewing on demand.

Luckily the production company isn't giving up on it.  I really think it will find a home somewhere else.  Syphilis Network strikes again.  They're more interested in Sharknado 9.

Looks like Amazon is stepping in to keep the show going.  Apparently Jeff Bezos loves the books and was mad that NBC/Universal (aka Syfy) got the rights the first time around.  Season 4 will be on Prime.

Good idea for Amazon to pick this show up since Amazon Prime was the only streaming site where you could find it anyway.

It took around 3 episodes for me to get hooked on this
show, if you don't like it at first, give it some time
to grow on you. Really like it.

What Thomas said...I was a fan of the books before so it was probably easier for me to want to watch, but in the third episode of the first season it really takes off and doesn't stop!

You know what I'm looking forward to the most?  All ten episodes of Season 4 being dropped at the same time on Amazon Prime.

I'm digging into S1 and loving it!

Glad to hear it's been picked up by someone else who will give it the time, attention, and promotion it deserves.   Make good Sci-fi and you will get an intelligent audience who will continue to come back.

Far too many shows that get 'saved' or 'revived' come back in such compromised or inferior forms as to miss the point of what made the show so good originally.

Did the first season explain how the proto molecule made
it into our solar system? Can't remember.

I just saw the last episode of the 3rd season a few days
ago. I think this show has a problem in that it would
suffer if they introduce Star Trek like aliens out
there. Could jump the shark if they don't step
carefully.

Looking forward to what they may find.

Not really.   Just that it originated on Phoebe.   It's discussed that it's extrasolar in origin but not in any great detail.   S1 mostly set up the game pieces and the sociopolitical status of Earth/Mars/The Belt.
