The NHL Playoffs are starting soon, who do you think will win Lord Stanley's Cup  this year?

I'm a Pens fan, so it would be awesome to see them win a 3rd in a row, but I'm also a realist. It's hard enough to win once, harder to win twice and winning 3 in a row is going to be extremely difficult.

Wouldn't it be something if the Golden Knights took the cup?

Boy it's sure not like the old days of expansion teams!

Nothing would make me happier than to see the Maple Leafs finally win one again!

I'm an Islander fan (pity me), but it's been 51 years for Toronto. It's way past time!

As much as I hate to say it, I hope the Leafs go far, even though Torontonians would become even more insufferable than they already are.

Winnipeg looks good as well and even though Vegas keeps on beating the Canucks, got to root for the underdog.

If it's the NHL playoffs then it's time for the Capitals to break my heart once again.

Rooting for the Pens. The Round 1 match-up with the Flyers is going to be interesting!

Game 7 for the Leafs and Bruins tomorrow! Boston has been the better team for most of the series but my Leafs are still in it. Hopefully we will see the second round

Capitals get yet another shot at beating the Pens to advance past the second round. I was a young man the last time they did it.

Second round has been some stellar hockey. I like the fact that three of the four match ups are currently 1-1 as it shows just how evenly matched and motivated these teams are to compete.

Hoping the Pens have adjusted, they played well enough to win on Thursday, but after seeing the score from yesterday they need to do a little more...

It's a shame that Vegas and Winnipeg are in the same Division. What a Cup final that would be.

Tom Wilson's presence was missed by the Caps last night.

Pens out now. I won't root for any other team, but I think it'll be interesting to see if Vegas makes it to the Finals.

I'd like to see Vegas and Tampa Bay go. I'm a big fan of Steve Yzerman and would love to see him get the cup as a GM.

I have to say even aside from the great team, the fans and media in Nashville are very impressive... even though I've been pulling for Winnipeg. I like it when you respect the winner and in this series I will. I even have new respect for Washington and have stopped calling them the Washington Dynamo (because of the Russian players), Ovechkin has earned some good karma finally! I'm not crazy about a couple of the Vegas players, (same could be said for a couple of Boston Bruins slurp, but they're out now).. so I was pulling for San Jose there. No idea who will hoist the cup, but better watching than some years. Maybe ye olde Washington Capitals finally, but Tampa Bay is going to be tough to get past.

I think that the Caps match-up pretty well with the Lightning. This Caps team is more resilient than in previous years so they can't be counted out. A lot depends on Backstrom's health because having 3 centers deep is necessary since Backstrom was tasked with checking Crosby during the Pens series which allowed Kuznetsov to take a few more chances. In fact, the Caps center depth hasn't been this good since the last (and only) time that they went to the Finals. I felt their D was more suspect back then. Avoidance of dumb penalties and sporadic bad play is the key to success against the Lightning.

Well, Winnipeg actually won, and moves on to the final four... they'll play Las Vegas. Just getting to the final four is a first for any team called the Winnipeg Jets I believe. That ought to keep me interested, some years I haven't really cared but this time three of the final four have never won Lord Stanley's cup.
