One thing I noticed was the lack of the usual "old-timey" voice you usually hear in recordings of this era, I'm guess because these were not staged performances - it was just the camera rolling while people went about their everyday business - especially in the case of the construction workers.

I have a fear of heights, so I almost crapped my pants watching those men on the Chrysler building - 90 years ago!

But that whole reel was incredible.
