Made my first post yesterday as an intro so I figured Iwould post something that has generated a lot of conversation in the past. Below is a podcast interview with Sal Buscema that a good friend conducted a few years ago and we coordinated the podcast on my site. Sal is my favorite Hulk artist and this interview focuses exclusively on the Hulk, his self-admitted favorite character. I was fortunate enough to meet Sal at Baltimore in 2013 when he was presented with a Harvey lifetime achievement award which was great as I did not catch Sal at any shows before he retired from the con circuit.

Sal Buscema is my definitive Hulk artist, too. For reasons I can't explain, this wasn't always so. As a snot-nosed kid and Marvel junkie in the late seventies, I actually disliked his art. At some later point, it just clicked; I suddenly saw how brilliant it was.

In case anybody asks, Sal is now represented by Scott Kress at www.catskillcomics.com. The interview makes reference to Al Czarnecki, who used to be his agent.

Sal is my all-time favorite artist. His work on the Spectacular Spider-Man series was what made me fall in love with comic books.

Sal is my favorite Hulk artist and probably cracks my
top 3 Spider-Man artists list as well making him one of
my all-time favorites as those are probably my two
favorite characters!
