"No one has more freedom," Lee said. While sitting next to a guy in black suit, bowler hat and dark glasses, with an armed guard nearby. Stan can't possibly be 100% on board with this. It's not passing the smell test.

Reading the article, Stan's daughter sounds (unfortunately) very similar to my sister-in-law.  And I've seen my mother-in-law struggle with being unable to say "no" to her, despite some extremely wretched things she has done over the years.  Family dynamics are complicated, particularly when a parent has to deal with an adult child who is dysfunctional if not mentally ill.  It's possible that Stan is suffering from some sort of diminished capacity or being coerced, but it's also possible that he's not and what's going on now is a longstanding dysfunctional family pattern that has been exacerbated by Joan Lee no longer being around.  In which case Stan has a right to make his own choices, even if they are unwise.

Keya Morgan wakes up in the morning and asks himself, "ok, how can I dress to look even more like a stereotypical con-man?"

Yeah, I am more convinced than ever that the video Stan made a few months back he was forced to make under Keya Morgan's watchful eye.

Wherever there's money there's shifty beggars.

I only heard about Mr. Lee having pneumonia or something a couple of months or so ago and cancelling some appearance. I assumed he's been  recovering somewhat since; it's a long road back for the aged from any problem. Plus what Jason 'said'.

They need to throw this guy into general
pop and tell the inmates that this is the
guy who abused Stan Lee. He wouldn't last
a week.

Maybe I'm projecting too much because of my own family, but it seems the root of the problems is still JC Lee, who until recently seems to have been allied with Keya Morgan.  The fact that she's apparently switched alliances to Kirk Schenk (a lawyer who at times in this saga has been accused of improprieties also) doesn't necessarily mean things are resolved here.  I get the impression that as long as she has a role in deciding who Stan associates with and how his business is run, there will continue to be questionable things going on financially.

Might be more on the restraining order placed on manager/son-in-law, not sure...

Here's something to consider. Stan has
been harder at the convention circuit in
his mid 90's than I've ever seen him. I
know he can turn on "being Stan Lee" like
a switch, but you have to figure that
conventions at his age, signing all day,
can't be how he wants to spend his days.
