Thank you for letting me/us know, Mr Byrne. Very much appreciated.
Even better if you're also doing panels on Friday & Sat! ( That alone would be enough for me to justify the trip. )

Just to clarify: non Star Trek comics will also be welcome at your table for signing those days? ( Apologies, I think that was implied in your original answer but I want to make sure I'm getting this right before I throw that beast of an Artist edition in my suitcase )

And I definitely owe one to Bill Shatner for giving me/us the chance to see you again.

Regards.

Sure, easy for me to say now, but it really is!

Since I'm flying up to Boston, I can't take my folding portfolio/table, used for years to put me at eye level with the fans, and thus avoid "convention neck". In this post 9/11 world, I can't take it on a plane.

But Jim Warden is taking the train, so he can actually transport my table for me. Yay!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make such an arrangement for Toronto.

Bit of news for those planning to attend the Toronto con: you'll get to meet an actual comicbook character! My ol' bud Gary Cody will be joining us at the con.

I'll see you in both Boston and Toronto, John. I have to say, after reading your work for over thirty-five years and professionally reviewing it for the last six, it'll be a pleasure to meet you in person and shake your hand. I'm looking forward to both conventions. Good luck to you in Boston.

I'll be at Boston Saturday and Sunday.

It's coming up very soon. Should we take a head count of the JBF Boston attendees?

I agree with Tim, I would also add, I hope John finds time to enjoy Mr Shatner’s company, perhaps even cook up a project they could collaborate on.

Sorry John, I always seem to be trying to get you back to work ; )

I dragged my family to the comic con (first time for all of us). With one son crying in the background John signed 10 of my favorite Byrne issues. I then had fun leafing through the portfolios of original art with my other son.

My only regret was that I was unable to find my copy of X-Men 129, with the first appearance of Kitty Pryde, to bring to the comic con for John to sign.

Quite the adventure.

Lots of pictures on twitter, it looks like everyone was having fun. It's neat to see other pros gush over meeting JB.
