Just learned that he died last December.

OBIT

He was an acquaintance from my Chicago days. One of the best times I ever had at a party was when he and I got into a "voice-off". He won!

"Butter. Butter. Parkaaaay!" -- absolutely burned into my memory.

These kinds of talents, like Mr. Moran's, never get much name recognition, but they can help define an era culturally.

Condolences.

Would've loved to hear that voice-off, JB!

What voices were (are) you good at?

My condolences on the loss of your friend, JB. He certainly made his mark on advertising and pop culture.

I'm not sure I've ever eaten Parkay, but that 'talking tub' was one of the earliest ads I can remember...and it also featured another voiceover great, Ernie('THE LOOOOOVE BOAT!') Anderson.
