I did own an Action Man toy when I was about 7-8. Not sure I ever desired a movie, though.

I thought "Action Man" was just the British name for the G.I. Joe line, and not truly a separate line of figures?

I think you're right. They were separate in the sense that they wore British military uniforms (G.I. Joe would obviously not have had any reason to dress in Royal Marines or Royal Military Police attire), but I believe you are correct.

And the smaller figures, which were Action Force, were also just G.I. Joe rebranded, right?
