...while Zazie Beetz is absolutely gorgeous as Domino…

Thanks for the name, Shaun.

I saw the movie early today, and (for the most part) enjoyed it. I immediately
guessed who was being held in maximum security, but was disappointed in
how he was portrayed. I also don't care for the way Colossus is portrayed.

We can spoil now, right?  It's Juggernaut.  We'll have to agree to disagree. I thought that was a pitch perfect portrayal of the character.

As for my quick and dirty review of the film, I thought it was a ton of fun.  I feel like I have to go back and watch it again for all stuff I missed while I was laughing.  Not much more that I can ask for when going to the theatre. Not as good as the first, because that set the table, but a fun ride all the same.

Two blades up!

Saw it Saturday night, laughed my ass off for a good three quarters of the movie. Juggernaut was spot on after that Vinnie Jones embarrassment, Brolin was perfect as Cable. Applauded at the “can’t draw feet” line.

When DP attempted Black Widow’s ‘Hulk Lullaby’ on Juggernaut I fell out!  So funny and sharp witted.

Best after credits scenes ever.

Great film overall.  Enjoyed it from start to finish, minus some of the time travel logic.

I wasn't sure if the end credit scenes are canon or simply jokes? The reason I ask is if he saves Vanessa, doesn't that negate the whole movie? Also, why travel to save Peter after saving Vanessa? Wouldn't saving Vanessa set it up that he wouldn't have to save Peter later as well as being able to save all members of X-Force? It didn't make a lot of sense, but I'm guess the last scenes are not canon.

Not that I particularly care, but I'm pretty sure the aftercredits are considered canon.  My FB feed has been littered with stories about it so for those that need that confirmation...

As far as what I thought, for a sequel it was outstanding.  I expected a big let down or just a re-hashing of the first one or both.  But this one held up very well IMO.

My ignorance of the comics got in the way at times as I kept wondering who some of these characters were and if they were actually in the comic books but at the end of the day, I enjoyed it and had a good time.

It is violent but somehow the violence seems cartoony.  There's a separation there that makes it palatable.  As opposed to Ash vs. the Evil Dead season 2 for example, which just seems like gore porn IMO.  I know it should be just as cartoony but it was very off putting for me whereas Deadpool wasn't.

Loved seeing Juggernaut.  Thought the CGI was pretty good.  Not perfect but for all intents and purposes, Ol' Juggernaut was there in all of his glory.  Does anyone else think that the ripping in half scene was a swipe at the Ultimate Hulk/Wolverine battle?

And, as sappy as I apparently am, I was all too accepting of the ending.  In fact, when Cable decides to make his sacrifice I thought he was going to go back a little further himself and help Wade out.  As confusing and complicated as time travel can get though, it was easier to just accept it and get the Hollywood ending.

Why so many don't seem to want a happy ending in favor realism...at the movies(!) is beyond me.

I saw it yesterday and thought it was hilarious! While still not a fan of the character in the comics, I have to say I enjoyed both movies.
