Not that I particularly care, but I'm pretty sure the aftercredits are considered canon. My FB feed has been littered with stories about it so for those that need that confirmation...

As far as what I thought, for a sequel it was outstanding. I expected a big let down or just a re-hashing of the first one or both. But this one held up very well IMO.
My ignorance of the comics got in the way at times as I kept wondering who some of these characters were and if they were actually in the comic books but at the end of the day, I enjoyed it and had a good time.
It is violent but somehow the violence seems cartoony. There's a separation there that makes it palatable. As opposed to Ash vs. the Evil Dead season 2 for example, which just seems like gore porn IMO. I know it should be just as cartoony but it was very off putting for me whereas Deadpool wasn't.
Loved seeing Juggernaut. Thought the CGI was pretty good. Not perfect but for all intents and purposes, Ol' Juggernaut was there in all of his glory. Does anyone else think that the ripping in half scene was a swipe at the Ultimate Hulk/Wolverine battle?
And, as sappy as I apparently am, I was all too accepting of the ending. In fact, when Cable decides to make his sacrifice I thought he was going to go back a little further himself and help Wade out. As confusing and complicated as time travel can get though, it was easier to just accept it and get the Hollywood ending.
Why so many don't seem to want a happy ending in favor realism...at the movies(!) is beyond me.
