Robbie Parry : By the way, I didn't specify how many in this topic (mainly because someone inevitably breaks the rules) so include a few if you want.

One of my favorites include several panels. As a child reading Fantastic Four #253, when I realized it was Annihilus who answered the phone, I quite literally laughed out loud for minutes. I still get a chuckle when I read it.

The way this was arranged was very clever too. The first panel was as the bottom on one page. And then second panel was at the top of the other page. The delivery was flawless!

The Joker quote is very reminiscent of The Rocketeer, which I recall being one of JB's favorite super-hero movies. When I first read  Batman/Captain America, The Rocketeer came right to my mind, anyway. I don't know if it was intentional, or if there's an earlier reference.

It wasn't intentional. Call it one of those occasional "swiping from memory" moments.

A couple of favorites:

(Cropped to focus on the key line. Hope I didn't cut too much of the image.)

"That's it Richards.  Sound as confident as you can.  Don't let the others suspect the truth, that we are closer to death than we've ever been!"

Reed Richards' thoughts in FF 256.  It was cool to see a moment of doubt in Reed.

Looking at it more closely, Eric, I think you're right.
