Imagine you could only follow ONE team sport for the rest of your life. Only ONE! What would you choose?

Here are just some team sports:

Football (soccer)
American football
Basketball
Rugby (all forms)
Cricket
Baseball
Soft ball
Ice hockey
Volleyball

And numerous variations, e.g. Gaelic football, Australian rules football, etc.

If I had to choose only ONE team sport to follow for the rest of my life, it'd have to be football (soccer). I love NFL and many other sports, including basketball. But I've watched soccer since I was a day old. I could not stop watching that.

Over to you. No ties, honourable mentions, just pick one!

I'm with Doug, Baseball all the way.

I have very little interest in other sports.

NFL football.  Period.  Even during the off season I will watch almost anything football related.

Easy.  American football.  What we simply call "football".  All the others could fade away.  Football is my passion.

There is only one true sport and that is Hockey. Everything else is a pale imitation.

I'm probably more likely to casually watch a football game regardless of the teams playing, but I'm more deeply invested in what the Cleveland Indians do.

Baseball it is.

There are team sports other than football?

Really, the NFL is my favorite, and honestly the only sport I regularly watch and follow. Nothing else is appealing to me.

Yes, volleyball. Clearly the world's most watched sport. One game saw 973,245 people in attendance. Sixty billion people watched one game via PPV. ;-)

Baseball. I still like other sports, and the 'favorite' position has changed over time, but I always come back to baseball.
