The comics on display seem to cover about six months. This issue of the quarterly Hap Hazard should have been replaced by the following issue by the time the picture was taken.


The same applies to Comics for Kids.


This one-off is even older, having been published in 1944!

I would have gone broke. In fact, I probably would have had to work there just to pay off the debt. I don't know if I've ever seen quite such an array of new comics. Today, it seems that no one can afford to set out that many new books... what an exciting picture!

The Action issue took a little more effort because it turns out to be from Aug 1945 (I think this is the right issue...) so this shop carried some back issues, too.  Pretty sweet.
