With the exception of the 2002 movie, which I thought was lame, I've enjoyed the live-action SCOOBY-DOO movies. I am sure I will enjoy this one.

They already did this. A few years after the live action Scooby movies came out, they did two made for tv/dvd live action movies featuring a younger version of the gang. Scooby-Doo: The Mystery Begins (which chronicled how the gang came together and solved their first case) and a second one that was called something like Scooby-Doo and the Curse of the Lake Monster (I forget exactly, lol.). The only notable thing about them was that Robbie Amell played Fred in them.
