I wasn't having a dig at anyone in particular, James.

I am just conscious of how rumours start.

I mean, I'm the idiot who posted many comments on the 'net about how Hammer Studios had produced the two DR. WHO movies. It wasn't them, it was Amicus. Took me a while to track down my comments and correct the mistake.

https://scifi.stackexchange.com/questions/132349/spelling-da leks-or-darleks
This didn't need to be a 'thing', but people kept making it one.
Meanwhile, in a universe where 'Received Pronunciation' never existed...
'Doctuh! Theah's a DARLEK in the TAHDIS!'
'Stiddy arn Sahrar Jarne!'

Auto correct on my phone does my head in,especially on
Facebook,as there seems to be no option to go back and
edit on the mobile app!

I only use the FB web site on my phone. Apps can be fun, but it seems they have weird 'bugs' and 'quirks' that be avoided with the 'old fashioned' web version.
