It's possible for someone to be both evil and stupid both. Many GOP politicians seem to manage it just fine, as do their voters.

James Woodcock -
John Jackson, that YouTube you posted about fascism. Interesting piece but here’s a few bits of response.

It mentions Farage early on. Hmm, a man who used Fascist (Nazi) Imagery during the last election

It mentions total war - hmm, seems that this is an active policy for Trump at the minute. If things continue on the trajectory that they currently are for the next three years, the USA will pretty much be at war with everyone in the world by the end of those years.

I’m pretty sure both Trump and Farage share the same political beliefs - fascism. But then I’m now also convinced Trump has Altzeimers as well

James, I don't know enough about Farage to say either way. Is he against free speech, capitalism, and does his followers go around beating people up if you disagree with them?

If the answer is "no" to those questions, then you can probably safely say he is not a fascist.

From the interviews I have seen with him I think it is very unlikely.

As far as Trump goes, he is an isolationist.

Does he want rogue states to give up their nuclear weapons?

Yes, he does.

His approach is different than Clinton's and Obama's.  They tried to use appeasement.
It didn't work with North Korea and it won't work with Iran.

Trump's approach is more along the lines of Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis.  Threats and sanctions.

And the Dems are the ones who want to go to war with Russia because somehow they think they meddled in our election to help Trump.

I am not sure how buying facebook ads promoting Black Lives Matters. creating Twitter accounts like Blacktivist, and financing groups like Blackfist was supposed to help Trump.

I am pretty sure it was just to promote racial strife.

Putin should have just saved his money since the Dems are professionals at that.

The CIA, the FBI and the NSA also think Russia meddled in the last US election to help Trump.

That's kind of funny since it looks like those same agencies meddled to help Hillary.

John, out of curiosity, where does Fox News, National Review and the right leaning press in general fall when it comes to your original comment?

All of them have an agenda, Dave.  All of them.

By helping to discourage voter turnout on the Democrat's side. You only need your guy to get more votes than the other guy. Discouraging one base can be just as useful as encouraging the opposite base.

It's fair to debate how much Russian meddling contributed to the end result or how much (if at all) Donald Trump and his campaign were involved in it, but it seems fairly credible that Russia at least tried various means to influence the outcome.

Dave, why would the ads suppress African-American voter turnout?

I would expect it to galvanize them into making sure they voted.

Okay, but based on your posts here, you give a lot more credence to the Fox News side than to the non-Fox News side. Why is that?

Dave, I used to consider myself a Democrat and actually supported Gore in 2000.  That's until I realized how corrosive their identity politics are and how they seem to have a soft spot for Marxists.

You might say I felt the same way as Sp00ky in this video.

Given the number of Trump supporters who claim that Obama made racial divisions worse and who expressed fear of a rising black militancy, this should be fairly obvious.

Michael, I doubt anybody that voted for Trump followed Blacktivist on twitter or went to Blackfist self defense classes.

And the left didn't need any help promoting BLM.
