I have watched the first four episodes of Mindhunter on Netflix and find it very enjoyable. I highly recommend this show for the JBF. It is basically a story surrounding the birth of serial murderer investigation and profiling. I should be done with Season 1 by Sunday.

Apparently its reasonably historically accurate as well, though with name changes for the innocent.  One of the two FBI agents involved was a co-writer on the book on which the series is based.  Since you haven't finished out the series, I won't say any more and risk spoiling.

Thanks, Steve. I went into the series with no prior info and based on the style of the production I half expected some supernatural or X-Files element to pop up at any moment, but eventually realized this was not that type of show. The realism reminds me of "Masters of Sex" and I had wondered about the accuracy. I noticed a video regarding the actual interviews that were conducted as research for the show/script, but didn't watch it. Lately, when I stumble onto something good with no prior knowledge I try to preserve my ignorance for as long as possible. I'm enjoying the show and by Sunday I shouild be done.

This show is great. I'm burning through episodes very quickly and will eagerly await season 2.

Just finished watching this show. Really good, highly recommended. The actors portraying the serial killers are creepily effective.

Add me to the list of folks that are enjoying this show. I'm on episode four. It's good to see Anna Torv, too. I've been missing seeing her in anything since Fringe ended.

I caught the first four episodes last night and really enjoyed them. Looking forward to catching the rest of the show later tonight.

I never watched Fringe, so this is my first time seeing Anna Torv onscreen. Has she been in any other series of note?

Not that I know of, James. Fringe was the first thing I've seen her in and I absolutely loved her on that. She's definitely one of my celebrity crushes (although she reminds me quite a bit of a girl I had a long distance relationship with back in 2003). I think Fringe is a very underrated and amazing series that gets better as it goes (the animated episode blew my mind and the show features Leonard Nimoy in one of this last roles). You should check it out if you like sci-fi. It's streaming for free on this site (and not available on any other streaming site, at least in the US):

I believe Fringe is still available on Amazon Prime.

Steve, I have Amazon Prime and it's not available streaming as part of Prime. I'm pretty sure go90 is the only place to view it streaming, though you can buy it on Amazon.
