I agree, Wallace.
Eric, Mike Zeck was a Marvel man at this point. I do agree that it's likely another artist make changes to the face. There is still that little touch Ordway does in the corner of a character's mouth which I pointed out in another post.
Jason, while Ordway was primarily an inker at that point, it's possible that he might have been hired to do a full drawing for a licensed product like this one.
Rodrigo, Lopez has a style I can spot easily, and his work was commonly used for licensing by DC. I don't see this as his work.
Using Google, the pose, or one very close to it, is a common one for Ordway. A 2011 drawing by Ordway, which I have linked to in an above post, has Superman in virtually the same pose, even punching away at a similar kind of space debris.
I've see enough details that are close to what Ordway has in his work, particularly during the period, and seen enough examples of him usin a similar pose to convince me it is Ordway's art. There really isn't anyone else at DC in 1983 whose style that matches.
Now, there is the possibility that being it was a licensed product, it was some unknown commercial artist, but it sure looks like the work of a comics professional.
