Words truly fail me.

I do like Dan Jurgens' response to it though.

Seems like Superman would be covered under DACA.

Post-Crisis Superman was born in Kansas. There's no birth certificate, though. (Well, there is one, actually.)

Seems as though he's been Naturalized somewhere along the line, probably in one of those issues that featured a then-current President.

They went back to baby Kal-El having been born on Krypton a few reboots ago, I think starting with "Birthright."

And even in JB's "Man of Steel," the Kents passed off Clark as having been their own child, born during a blizzard that left them cut off from society for a few months. That was an act of fraud!

Also: In the versions of continuity where the Kents first took the baby to an orphanage, telling them they'd found the baby by the side of the road, I suppose that was an honest enough statement — but kind of leaving out the part about a strange rocket ship having crashed down. (This version was used on the Smallville show.)

In those scenarios, baby Clark would end up being registered by the government as an abandoned baby of unknown parentage.

So... this brain-dead waste of sperm is truly concerned about Superman protecting the foreign born?

DOES HE KNOW THAT SUPERMAN IS A FICTIONAL CHARACTER?!?!?

I mean, if THIS is the focus of his reporting, I can't imagine he gets MONEY for it. 'Cause I'd LOVE to get a piece of THAT pie!

Fictional characters have long been used to demonstrate real world opinions and actions... how many super heroes have met the president, etc.?

But by Heaven, Hell, and all the Outer Realms, THIS is what bothers this reporter bozo? He must be pulling out his own hair about Uncle Sam or Captain America.

Of course, being on the fourth or fifth reality/reboot by now, no one knows for sure, but Superman was granted citizenship by all the member of the United Nations in the 60s. Post-Crisis, he was officially (and legally recognized) born on Earth in America... no naturalization necessary.

If someone has to go deeper than that to object to Superman being a hero... it's time to stop drinking the Kool-Aid (tm) and seek professional help.

The guy isn't the full shilling. I thought it might be one of those parody news stories at first.

Note this sentence from the Fox "News" pundit: "Superman swoops in and blocks the bullets meant for the illegals."

That he says such a thing, in outrage, pretty much tells us all we need to know about his moral compass.

Also, this part: "Remember when Superman stood for truth, justice and the American way? Then again, Clark Kent is technically an illegal alien – a native of Krypton."

So he admits that Superman has always represented the immigrant/refugee in American life — but treats the idea of progressive politics in Superman comics as some new, diabolical turn.

It is someone from FOX News, people. They're ALL morons.

It's like the Burger King location closest to me, which I refuse to patronize: They give you an intelligence test, and only hire you if you fail it.

(Seriously. The BK near me is that bad. Even the managers don't care.)

Yeah, it's so incredibly "far left" for Superman to prevent people from getting killed, regardless of who they are.

Cuz y'know, he's never done that before, ever. It's not like his raison d'etre or anything.
