LOL
I came to the title late. Didn't know it existed until I saw a TPB. Now I just love it. SCOOBY-DOO TEAM-UP, too.
It's a nice "antidote" to grim and gritty. And I can pick up random issues, I don't recall when there was last a two parter. Even some "two-parters" in SCOOBY-DOO TEAM-UP are tenuous, i.e. they teamed with the Flintstones in one issue - and then the Jetsons in the next. There is (sort of) a link between the two tales, but each can be enjoyed on their own merits.
It's a dip in/dip out title. And that's a great thing in today's "Age of Decompression". If I see something of interest on the cover, such as a scarecrow (we all love scarecrows, right?) or, in the case of SCOOBY-DOO TEAM-UP, an encounter between the Scooby Gang and the Jetsons, well I can pick the title up only when I wish to. I do pick up a lot of them, though.
It's just nice to have that option, Joe. I didn't pick up the Johnny Quest issue of SCOOBY-DOO TEAM-UP as the character does not interest me. Space Ghost doesn't interest me, either, so I didn't pick that one up. But because the Scooby titles aren't reliant on 6-issue arcs, multi-issue crossover events and so much else, it makes them very accessible.
