One of the most significant events in all of human history.

How many things can you find WRONG with THIS article?

I find this statement pretty dubious:

And today’s USBs are more powerful than the computers used to land the first man on the moon, too.

[pedantic]Well, aside from presuming the moon landing really happened...[/pedantic]

On a more factual note, it totally ignored green cheese, as well as Attilan.

Indeed. The writer is pretty vague in the usage of the word "power". As well, there's this little gem.

the “ingenious computer systems” were more basic than what we find in toasters today.

Most toasters don't have a processor chip in them.

I'm thinking of Neil Armstrong trespassing upon the Blue Area...

"Very well, Major Armstrong. If words will not convince you, let actions take their place!"

Unfortunately, people will still view a piece of fiction like Operation Avalanche as a documentary. Technology has changed quite a bit, but we still can't get to the moon riding on a toaster.

***

Well, no mention of discovering a Princess Kaguya living there, nor of any rabbits pounding the ingredients for rice cakes...
