What are your Top 5 dramas that are still in production? I'm not saying "airing right now" because of the streaming world that we live in. But the qualification is dramas that are currently still in production, meaning they are airing/streaming a current season and/or are coming back for another season. TOP 5. No "honorable mentions" or "runner ups". Also, no series that's been canceled but you've only now just gotten around to watching it like, say, THE WIRE.
Top 5. Go!

Have just watched the first season, Peter, and had not realised it was coming back. Just googled and seen there are to be at least two more series. This is great news.

(Presuming we're talking about Cardinal) Yeah, I had previously thought it was one and done, but Googled it myself to see if I could get it into this list -- and was pleasantly surprised to see two more had been commissioned.

In no particular order:
GAME OF THRONES THE GOOD FIGHT THE AMERICANS THIS IS US THE WALKING DEAD
FWIW my wife and I started binging THE AMERICANS a couple of months ago. We're halfway through Season 3 and absolutely loving it. Amazing series. We'll definitely be caught up by the time the 6th and final season airs in a year.

Good golly, there are so many good dramas being produced these days, my top 5 list would no doubt shift from hour to hour. If I were only allowed to watch 5, I'd probably pick
Better Call Saul Game of Thrones The Walking Dead Fargo Gotham
But the number of shows I have to omit just reinforces my conviction that television is not just better than it's ever been, it's exponentially better.

So difficult to select five from the constellation of great shows out there:
Game of Thrones Better Call Saul Mr Robot The Expanse The Walking Dead (though the suspense has fallen off a peak last season).
I would have added Fargo instead of The Expanse. But the next season is still up in the air.

Absolutely, Peter. Apologies for not being clear.
Thought Cardinal was a great series and was staggered to discover it was the Rocketeer himself in the lead role.

I forgot about TWD when I put my list together and was tempted to change but resisted for the exact reason stated. For me, each series on my list has to be consistently good and sadly TWD has become somewhat patchy. For every great episode there are two, three or even four poor ones. Ditto Doctor Who and the reason it didn't make the grade for me.

Man, can't believe I forgot about Bosch. Great show, Kevin! Made me go out and start reading the Michael Connelly books after I'd finished season 3 and didn't have any more to watch. Highly recommended.

I am shocked that no one mentioned WestWorld as a top 5. Loved season 1, eagerly awaiting season 2.

Jean-Francois, I liked Westworld quite a bit and would've included it had the list been a top ten. Not sure where they're going to go in season 2 after that finale.

Wow, great to see Cardinal getting some love here. Glad to see it's Canadian-ness (and in particular, Francophone Canadian-ness) doesn't get in the way of it's enjoyment in other countries. Yes, the writing is *that* good.
