Pretty sure there are some TSO fans on this Forum... sad to report that founding member Paul O'Neill passed away on May 25, but the news is only spreading now:

I was a stick-in-the-mud about TSO for years, but finally picked up their Greatest Hits CD ("The Ghosts of Christmas Eve") just last year, on a whim... and ended up loving it.

Very sad end, I've read often how their concerts and tours were quite spectacular.

RIP

(EDIT:  Either I read it wrong, or the initial story had a typo, but apparently O'Neill died way back on April 5th!  Kind of surprised that I heard nothing about this for the past 2 months.)

Very sad news, apparently he was a very genuine and
generous chap.I have most of TSO`s releases, and seeing
live clips online they are truly a spectacular live
band.

I know them mostly from their Christmas albums. Good stuff, sad to hear he's gone
