I honestly can't remember exactly what my first comic was, but it may have been the one that said:
THE FIGHT TO SAVE EARTH FROM STAR WARRIORS
(If anybody needs a hint, one of the co-stars was a VERY famous figure in 'real life', who passed away last year).

Good guess, Brian! JLA #134 and the 4*S issue was #4.

I actually have three prospects for My First Comic:

#1 The Final Battle!

#2 ...Definitely NOT a good place to meet... the Scorpion!

#3 (the series should be a gimme for those who've been around awhile)
"Get back, Legionnaires! It's a trap! Only I can defeat Universo!"
"You got your scoop, Lois Lane, but you won't live to print it!"
Jimmy Olsen - arrested for murder!
"Get going, Clark! This is a job for Superman!" "Why is Green Arrow betraying my secret id?"
A big switch for Mr. and Mrs. Superman - She has super-powers and he doesn't!

Brian Hague, you guessed wrong!

Again, my text was:

Trouble between the Dynamic Duo... is she the cause?

"Amazing Spider-Man #78?"

...

Sorry Dave but no. I knew I'd catch some people on this one.
Kind of a trick "blurb".

MARVEL TEAM-UP (I forget the number) featuring Spider-Man and Captain America, yes?

And earlier, Brian guessed mine correctly! Micronauts #8.

(Joseph, GREAT thread idea... really fun!)

To the best of my knowledge, my first comic book (sometime in 1976, left at the foot of my bed by my father, after he came home from an overnight shift) featured this blurb:

"Slashing DEATH, When the Mysterious Steel Claw Strikes!"
