Bruce Timm is BACK!!!!!!

DC Universe's next animated movie, "Batman and Harley Quinn" (set in the ol' BTNA Timmverse) features the voice talents of Kevin Conroy as Batman, Melissa Rauch as Harley Quinn, and Loren Lester as Nightwing, set to be released this summer-

Sneak Peak-

I sorta feel that if they are trying to be more PG-13, they should not use
the BTAS/TNBA art style. It's a bit jarring. There was always innuendo
and some risqué stuff surrounding Harley, even from her first
appearance, but it was always stuff that would go over kids' heads.

I agree... hopefully they won't overdo it or I'm likely to be disappointed.
(as it is, there's something about the animation that seems..off.)

I've waited too long for Timm to do more BTAS/TNBA to see it ruined by today's mindset that everything has to be very edgy or risqué to appeal to an older audience. BTAS always knew where to draw the line.

Official cover art featuring Harley Quinn (with her signature mallet), Batman and Nightwing running along Gotham City’s rooftops-

Cautiously optimistic.

I just watched the trailer on YouTube. I'm not sure why you would go to all the trouble to revisit the BTAS series world and then cut a trailer that really does not evoke the feeling of the show? I hope it turns out to be more than just the character designs in a typical animated outing.

I'm not sure I like the casting of Harley Quinn. To me she sound too much like Cindy Lauper. Too heavy a Long Island accent.

I feel the same Richard. 8 LOVED Melissa Rauch and at
first glance I understand the casting, but Harley's voice
has a lot of nuance that I'm not getting. With Mrs.Sorkin
unable to do the voice, I would've gotten Tara Strong. Not
only is she Batgirl but she does a great Harley. So,
taking a wait and see attitude.

Well, to be fair, it's been AWHILE since WB Animation films has impressed me. Still, trying to be optimistic.
