This is about some obscure band/group/artist that you could probably get on Amazon or EBay.  I hope folks might find out about artists they might like.

Rules:

2 band/group/artists only for the whole course of the thread!
Name of group only:
No comments/defense/justification/explanation of your choices.

You may comment on others choices.

My picks:

Swirling Eddies
Vinnie James

Thanks for starting this. It's fun to discover new music.
Lots of interesting stuff posted. I'll be checking into The Swirling Eddies and Jackdaw4. Some of the others sound good, too.
It's a shame Jellyfish only did two albums.

Lansdowne (only recently heard of them, myself)

Virgin Steele

Ghoultown

Doug mentioned Y&T. I have "Summertime Girls" on my mp3 player right now, but I like a lot of their other songs, as well. Dave Meniketti has also done some solo albums.

I saw Y&T in 1983 on the Meanstreak tour, they were
brilliant, sadly Joey Alves died a couple of weeks
ago, leaving only Dave Meniketti as the surviving
original member.

Whoah, Brian, make that three albums and a plethora of singles sat on my shelf.

And fun fact: singer Tim Freeman is the brother of The Hobbit's Martin.
