Loved his work with Stephen King on Cycle of the Werewolf. Always had plenty
of old Swamp Things lying around when I was a wee lad that my brothers had
long since moved on from. Loved Wrightson's style! Definitely one of the
greats.

RIP

I came to appreciate his work pretty late in my comic reading career, much to my regret.

He was super-talented and it's very sad to lose him. Such evocative artwork, really a rare ability.

This serves as a reminder that my contemporaries are starting to get up in years. Walt Simonson turned 70 last year. Neal Adams will be 76 in June. And I will be 67 in July.

All us young punks collecting our Social Security!!
