No worries. This is our second year in a row attending Wizard World Philly, so I'd imagine we'll be there again.

Phil, hope you have fun! That convention always has the best comic guests! Maybe one year I'll make the drive up.

Holy cow! HEROES CON was amazing! My first time to the
legendary Charlotte convention, it totally lived up to
the hype!

My first visit to Heroes Con and Charlotte. Both were fun.

Heroes Con was another great one this year. I have yet to have a bad experience interacting with the pros.

I went to the first day of Awesome Con. A pleasant 20 seconds with Colleen Doran, the Stan Lee line gets more expensive and more "factory" every time (understandable under the circumstances and my "line buddies" were fun) and I managed to snag an X-Men #1.

Did the job I guess, but I might need to see if the wife'll let me head to Charlotte next year...

Made the mistake of peeking at this year's Heroes Con guest list. Now I'm depressed. :-) At least a good dozen or so folks I've never seen and would love to meet. Here's hoping they're regulars!

Heroes Con always has a great guest list. I think I may even get a room next year so I have more time to roam artist alley.

I have been on the Heroes Con e-mail list for many years. I just can't bring myself to gear up for that 12 hour drive. :(

I went on Sunday. Also met Colleen Doran. I'll admit, I wasn't all that familiar with her work, just happened to wander by her table (while waiting for my Stan Lee photo op to queue up!*). But she sold me on a personalized signed copy of The Book of Lost Souls, which I'd not heard of. Looking forward to the read...

*And yes, it was very...assembly line. The autograph session, even moreso.

Same clothes, same pose, same goggle eyed expression. Am I missing something, or were people posing with a cardboard cutout of Kevin Smith at the San Diego Con?

I was at Edmonton Entertainment and Comic Expo yesterday. And I spent most of my time in Artist Alley, visiting with Bob Budiansky, Bob Hall, Bob McLeod, Larry Hama and Jim Steranko. I went over to the Media Guest twice, the first resulting in confirmation of when a guest would return to her table and the second to get her autograph. She is voice actress Susan Eisenburg, who played Wonder Woman on the Justice League animated series.
