Oh, and for when the full sized image gets to Dan's Gallery -- there's a Barney in this one.

To me, JB drawing Kyle Rayner and that harpooned Aquaman just feels... unseemly.

But the commissions are still great, of course! :)

A bit disturbing to see my birthday linked with doomsday.

At least the commissions are great. JB is the king of composition.

Interesting line-up in FF with She-Hulk and the Thing both of the team and a good match-up for the Hulk. Any chance to see you draw Hulk, FF, and She-Hulk is excellent. Nobody does it better.

And I love how no matter who you draw, even 90's harpoon hand Aquaman, it still looks fantastic and right. Something I noted the first time you started drawing all the DC characters back in the 80's, after years of being a Marvel artist. Those DC characters had never looked better while still being completely on model for what had come before. Something a lot of superstar artists could learn from today.

Two wonderful commissions. I'm envious of their recipient(s).

JLA: It's a beautiful commission, even though I'm not particularly fond of those versions of the Flash, Green Lantern, and Aquaman. But boy oh boy, are they SPOT ON! Except... was that Batman costume ever concurrent with the JLA? I know you're an expert, but I was wondering if I was misremembering.

FF: Mr. Byrne, I don't know if it's an inside bit or not, but of the FF, the only one conscious is the Invisible Woman. LOVE IT!

In "The Avengers", I geeked out over Thor fighting the Hulk. But several of my friends who know Marvel comics lament with me that we will almost certainly never see the ultimate; a Hulk vs Thing/FF fight. I would watch that entire movie on the edge of my seat.

I feel the same kind of distress knowing that I'll likely never see Spider-Man and the Human Torch together. Such classic elements to be buried in the studio graveyards.

I will NEVER get tired of your FF. Especially with Hulk.  Great stuff.

I think Aquaman turned out the coolest one up there!
