It was probably the most fun one so far -- even with the star field! When I thought I'd finished it, I espied a couple more uncoloured moons (the smaller cut-off ones); funny what the eye doesn't see until you look and look again.

Peter has A LOT of time on his hands. :D

I'm planning to get a colored pencil set today and dive into it.

Not meant in a negative way but Peter's excellent work has put me off even trying to colour this let alone post it on here. I think I know now I won't be a colourist when I grow up ;)

Cool job with the rocket smoke, Joe. Funny about the shoulder -- my fingertips are almost permanently numb from colouring this. It's a physical task! Must be squeezing my brush too tight.

The lights and screens were fun on this one:

Iron Man and War Machine! Fantastic stuff

I'm disappointed in the scan the colored pencil did not pick up well at all.

I don't "see" shadows very well. This affects my model painting as well.
One of the reasons I like the coloring of the older books.

Colored Pencil.
Must say I didn't go easy on the paper but nary a dent on the other side. Good paper stock. Kudos to IDW.

Peter, your "CAUGHT" page is my favorite of the ones you've shared up to this
point.

Even with copic markers the text on the other side is still  very readable much better paper then most adult coloring books.

Not particularly enamoured with what I did with this one:

Having done just one page of one of my GF's coloring books for adults, I know I don't have the patience for this.  I'm just going to enjoy everyone else's work.

Peter, great job!  Some of those look professional calibre.

Doug, for using pencil, your contribution has the most vivid colors.  Really nice.

Joe, excellent flame / smoke effect.

Looks like peter is just taking pictures and that is bound to throw colors off in all kinds of ways. I'm going  check my scanner settings and give it another go.

Yeah, I'm just taking photos, because I find it plain easier than trying to stick the book in the scanner -- I find it captures more colour detail than my scanner as well. Comes out a bit too bright though, so I try and adjust it in photoshop to tone the colours down a bit closer to the way they look to the eye in real life.
