I'm six games up on Matt going into the final week, so even though it's his turn to go first I am invoking Pro Bowl rules and picking first (I don't know that I could come up with six or seven disagrees and if I don't, the whole week is non-competitive).  These are preliminary but will be final after, let's say Thursday.

Hm.  Looks like there IS a Sunday night game, even though NFL.com didn't show one....    At least it didn't show one last Thursday.

Weird.

Well, at least they had a good run!

  • Ravens at Bengals

  • Texans at Titans- Literally a bad break for the Titans. Still don't trust the Texans.

  • Panthers at Buccaneers

  • Jaguars at Colts

  • Patriots at Dolphins

  • Bears at Vikings

  • Bills at Jets

  • Cowboys at Eagles

  • Browns at Steelers

  • Saints at Falcons

  • Giants at Redskins- I'm actually rooting for the G-men here.

  • Cardinals at Rams

  • Raiders at Broncos- Literally a bad break for the Raiders.

  • Chiefs at Chargers- Chiefs will be resting players.

  • Seahawks at 49ers

  • Packers at Lions- Yep picking the Lions, even though I hate that they're on national tv.

  • Ravens at Bengals Close call in meaningless game.
  • Texans at Titans Another head scratcher.  Titans are out.  Texans bad on the road, Titans decent at home.  *shrug*  Nobody cares so I take the team with something at stake.  I guess.
  • Panthers at Buccaneers
  • Jaguars at Colts
  • Patriots at Dolphins Dolphins have more to lose than NE and much underestimated at home but NE just good enough (I hope.)
  • Bears at Vikings Vikes playing for prideÖ enough to beat shameless Bears
  • Bills at Jets Wildly unenthusiastic about weak finale between Div disappointments.
  • Cowboys at Eagles Philly favored and always dangerous vs. Dallas but Dallas has played well vs everyone but NYG so Iíll yield to that.
  • Browns at Steelers Cleve got their W.  Time to sleep.
  • Saints at Falcons Worrisome.  Falcons worse at home and Saints pretty good on road.
  • Giants at Redskins Skins must win for shot at post-season where theyíll lose early. Hoping thatís enough.
  • Cardinals at Rams Another meaningless Div finale between two stupendous letdowns.  Woohoo!
  • Raiders at Broncos - Another less meaningful game but Iíll take Broncs over Carr-less Oak.
  • Chiefs at Chargers- Chargers all done and Chiefs seem to have fate on their side plus pretty good on road too.
  • Seahawks at 49ers Another boring Div finale.
  • Packers at Lions - Improbable run by the Pack puts them in position to shock the world.  Hereís hoping.

Sunday, January 1

  • Ravens at Bengals (DISAGREE. For some reason my gut tells me Harbaugh is out)

  • Texans at Titans (DISAGREE)

  • Panthers at Buccaneers (DISAGREE. I have picked the Panthers way too many times this year but what the heck. If they lose, yet another coach is on the way out).

  • Jaguars at Colts (DISAGREE. Will Coughlin embrace the Analytics people in the organization and keep the defensive coordinator or has Marrone done enough to keep the job)?

  • Patriots at Dolphins

  • Bears at Vikings

  • Bills at Jets

  • Cowboys at Eagles (DISAGREE. The 'boys take their foot off of the gas for one week).

  • Browns at Steelers (DISAGREE. The Browns can't even get the first pick in the draft right).

  • Saints at Falcons

  • Giants at Redskins (DISAGREE. Redskins have more to play for).

  • Cardinals at Rams  (DISAGREE.  Cards coach is out but players are playing for a job next year).

  • Raiders at Broncos (DISAGREE. The year that could have been will haunt Raiders fans for years to come).

  • Chiefs at Chargers

  • Seahawks at 49ers

  • Packers at Lions (DISAGREE. I stand by my earlier prediction of a record number if firings. The Lions lose their coach after an epic collapse).

    Rich,

TEN disagreements this week! Will I be first this week or will I continue my epic failure of picks? We shall see.

Damn, Andy, why not just go for the full 16!? Some ballsy picks (The Browns!?!). Good luck!

FYI, Joe Boster: it looks like you forgot to pick for quite a few games.

I made my pick for the Cowboys-Eagles game conditional, because there's talk of resting Dak and possibly starting Sanchez over Romo.

No way in Hell the Cowboys win if Sanchez starts, and I'd give it 25/75 in favor of the Eagles if Romo starts.

Not much to disagree with here.  I'll try, but ain't no way I'm coming up with enough to tie let alone win outright.

  • Ravens at Bengals

  • Texans at Titans - HAGERMAN DISAGREES!

  • Panthers at Buccaneers

  • Jaguars at Colts

  • Patriots at Dolphins

  • Bears at Vikings

  • Bills at Jets

  • Cowboys at Eagles

  • Browns at Steelers

  • Saints at Falcons

  • Giants at Redskins

  • Cardinals at Rams

  • Raiders at Broncos - HAGERMAN DISAGREES!  No faith in this one.  Just seeing if it sticks.

  • Chiefs at Chargers

  • Seahawks at 49ers

  • Packers at Lions - I hate this pick.  I really do.  I love to see the Pack go down in a ball of flames but, alas, that does not appear to be what will happen.

Just two.  I may amend if I can think of any more wiggle room.

For a second I was thinking "I took the Broncos?" but yeah, with Carr out and Denver's anemic offense that's a reasonable pick.

With the holidays, and no Thursday game (although I still don't care for Thursday games), it feels like a bye week!

Anthony, Indy won that game 24-20, it's not a tie.

And unless I'm mistaken, with SNF yet to be decided, I've only lost 2 games this week.
