Alternately, if you want to intimidate some gunmen into ceasing fire,
which would be more effective? Jumping around dodging bullets, or just
walking through their line of fire to demonstrate that their guns are
useless?

What your reaction be if someone fired a gun at you? Would you stand there or try to move out of the way? It could just be gut instinct.

I'm not a superhero. Would you say the same thing about Captain America or Wonder Woman, asking why they deflect bullets rather than move out of the way as gut instinct?

The problem with a suit that can absorb the kinetic energy from a hail of bullets is that the suit should also be able to absorb the kinetic energy any every punch thrown at it, but that didn't seem to be the case in Civil War.

The suit makes good comic book sense but it's one of those "powers" that is hard to write consistently.

Does Captain America just stand there and get shot at? Or does he protect himself with his shield?  What do you think he would do if he didn't have his shield? Do you think he'd just stand there and get shot? Or would he try to dodge the bullets?

Depending what era of Wonder Woman we are dealing with. The answer might be different. I've the most basic of knowledge about her history.
If we are talking about the times when she is considered to be on the same level as Superman. I don't know if she is bullet proof like Superman. If she is I doubt she would move out of the way of bullet fire.

In her early adventures she would have done so. Those bracelets of hers weren't just for decoration.

Again, Panther uses it as an intimidation tactic.

What I'm asking is how do you know that Black Panther is letting himself get shot is a intimidation tactic? Can you provide me with the issue number where I can read that?

If the writer says that's what he's doing that's than what he's doing. Personally I think that's a ridiculous idea. But I'll accept it as being factual.

I don't have my issues readily available, but it's something he did a few
times in the Priest run. What exactly is ridiculous about it? How is it any
different from Superman catching bullets with his hand or letting bullets
bounce off of him when he can just as easily disarm the gunman?

Thanks Michael, if you find the time and at your convenience of course. If you could locate the numbers it would be helpful to me in hunting them down.

It's ridiculous because unlike Superman. Black Panther doesn't have super speed and is no where near as indestructible as Superman.

Sure characters like Superman and the Hulk could stand there and take a bullet. Several thousand of them even and not even be bothered.

Black Panther just isn't on their level.
He's on the same playing field as Captain America and Batman.  A stray bullet could easily take them down. That's why I think it's a ridiculous tactic.

Wouldn't that make it even MORE intimidating if a guy that's not on the level of Superman or the Hulk has bullets just bouncing off of him?
