Who would you choose? And why? ONE choice only, please, no honourable mentions, ties or anything else.

Trying to not be so obvious or predictable so I opt for Ant-Man/the Doctor. Ant-Man shrinks and has to get to the heart of the TARDIS. I can imagine Ant-Man being much use inside a Dalek or Cyberman, too.

Over to you, folks!

EDIT: Actually, maybe I am being obvious and predictable. :/

Mister Fantastic. Because he'd be right at home on the TARDIS.

Mary Marvel. A sweet, clever young companion from the 1940's turns out to have a special secret...

Wondering if this could be a distinct possibility - in the UK, that is.

Over here, Panini UK have the licence to reprint US Marvel tales. Panini have occasionally published original Marvel material.

Panini also publish "Doctor Who Magazine" which features original strips.

Could Panini do an original FF strip in the pages of "Doctor Who Magazine"? I wonder...

And of course there were a small number of Marvel Premiere issues, the Colin Baker-era graphic novel, and a baxter paper reprint series from Marvel featuring the good Doctor as well.

For such a thing to happen now, (and a most welcome thing it would be!) IDW would likely have to license Mr. Fantastic from Marvel. Would they consider it, I wonder, since the character is little-used at the moment?

Probably, Brian, although why would they have to?

Panini UK reprints Marvel US tales. Panini UK has also done original Marvel storylines. Panini UK publishes Doctor Who strips. Would they be able to do an original FF/Doctor adventure provided it was *solely* published in the UK (obviously, Americans would get their hands on copies via eBay or whatever)?

Oh my goodness I just got a visual of the interior of the TARDIS as if done by Jack Kirby.

I'd like to see Bruce Banner meet the Doctor. Mainly because I want to see the Doctor having to deal with a rampaging Hulk.

The Doctor and just about any version of the Flash...perhaps the Doctor is able to use (or 'jump start') the Cosmic Treadmill?
Or different incarnations of the Doctor inadvertantly cross into the pre-Crisis DC multiverse, meeting Jay and Barry.

This has jogged a memory...wasn`t there an issue of Powerman and Iron Fist that featured non copyright infringing versions of The Daleks, and maybe The Doctor? Also,i think there was Buffy Season 8 comic that featured David Tennant`s Doctor and Rose walking down the street.

Google tells me that issue of PM/IF was #89, featuring our hard-luck heroes in battle with the Dreadlox, robot monsters who seek to "Incinerate!" the earth and destroy their foe, the eccentric Professor Gamble. Sounds interesting...

Don't know if anyone will see this since it's an old thread, but I choose Green Lantern with he and The Doctor facing the two renegades, Sinestro and The Master, with perhaps other Who villains thrown in as pawns. It seems natural for them to meet in space. Now, others might suggest The Doctor's tendency to time travel could lead him to meet heroes of other eras.

It takes more than two weeks to make a thread "old" round these parts, Warren!

Warren, most of us here will check out replies to threads we are interested in, no matter how old they are.

Sinestro and the Master is a good one! Wonder how the Time Lords would get on with the Guardians, too.

Maybe Orion of the New Gods.

He'd look around the TARDIS controll room and say "Hmm. Primitive but serviceable"

Superman and the Fourth Doctor vs. the Lord of Time...beginning with Sarah Jane Smith and Lois Lane inexplicably swapping places in time and space.

Brian, I realize this is coming a bit late, but I really like that Superman/Tom Baker idea and wish we could see that story unfold somehow! I'm imagining it first as Sarah and Lois both seeing nothing wrong with the situation and acting as one another while those around them treat them as if nothing has happened. Only the Doctor and Superman (as Clark Kent) see what's taken place and realize that "Lois" is now about a foot and a half shorter than she was... Lois, well settled in as the Doctor's companion and raring to go, damn near boggles the mind with possibilities! This sounds like immense fun!

Emery, seeing a Time Lord interact with another species of similar Godlike pretensions sounds like a hoot as well! "I walk in Eternity." "Really? We fly."

Wallace, we're talking about the animated version here, right? I was just checking out his action figure in my storage unit earlier today and missing that iteration of the character. He would definitely rock out to the tech!

Oh, and I picked him for the reason Brian so eloquently stated.

I had this flash of a Bill Mantlo/Sal Buscema HULK comic guest-starring
the Tom Baker Doctor...!

Picture tens of DALEKS getting those Sal Buscema punches...

BTW, just remembered...I did an 8-page comic story with my son about
this!

Harry Potter, the Tennant Doctor and Doctor Strange!

Stephen Strange is the new Defense of the Dark Arts teacher and...the
Tardis shows up at Hogwarts just because...and they fight Davros and
the Daleks!
