John, they usually do the deep cuts during the acoustic sets such as what’s in the link I posted above.

After much deliberation, I didn't end up getting End of the Road tickets.  It was really just money - not that I didn't have it, I just didn't want to spend it.  I will say, I don't mind spending money for good seats, but $100+ for nosebleeds is another story.

And a lot of it had to do with the fact that they're not very good live, by most accounts Paul will be singing to a track to some degree and Tommy Thayer as Ace irritates me (far more than Eric Singer as Peter Criss for whatever reason.)

So I saved my $100 and won't be seeing The End of the Road.

Because Eric Singer kicks ass, that's why.

And yes, they're definitely milking this cow.

Also, from what I've seen on YouTube and read in articles, Paul, for the most part, is done. That last live album had them tuned down a half step (which is actually a full step since they've almost always already tuned down a half step) and he was struggling then. Are they gonna tune down more?

That said, they've earned the right to call it quits. I just wish it would be on a higher note and not with the struggling. And I also wish I could've seen Got to Choose live.

After watching the live in Vegas show on tv, it struck
me that all the explosions sounded like the same sample,
it made me wonder how much other sampled help they were
using.

And I never cared about Peter either way. I'm an Eric Carr guy :)

I'm with John. Eric Carr was their best drummer. But to me anyone on lead guitar other than Ace is just a fill-in.

(I'm kind of bummed... what happened to Robbie Parry?  "Not Active" anymore?  Where'd he go???)
