Yeah I love THAT Thing and Dragon Man is so freaky cool to look at.
You know every commission is awesome, but this one really is tops in my book.
Anyone know, has Thing fought Dragon Man before?

Wow, way to fill the page, JB. Very well done.•• Thanks. Back when I was "studying" to get into comics, I looked at a lot of Jack Kirby's work, and one of the things that struck me was how he would most often use a standard grid layout for his panels, but then pretty much ignore it when it came to what was IN the panels. The action seemed to be bursting out of the constraints of the panel borders, without actually doing so. Taught me a lot about filling the available space.

This commission is barely contained by the dimensions of the paper. I dare say Mr. Kirby would be proud.

Lastly with the Thing holding Dragonmans mouth and obviously Dragonman in flight you dont know if the Thing is holding on not to fall or about to Crack him.....or maybe both...I opt for Both...Oh how I miss the days where pictures spoke a 1000 words. Story telling through Art at its finest..... The Thing...."IF I GOTTA FALL I GOTTA FALL BUT IMA HOLD ON LONG ENOUGH TA CLOBBER THIS BUM ONE GOOD ONE BEFORE I DO"MY PETUNIA ALWAYS SAID NEVER GO DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT!"
