These stingers are no different than the outtake reel at the end of Cannonball Run or the short backup stories that used to turn up in comics.

Marvel released the full soundtrack featured in GOTG Vol.2 and it's fair to say that this soundtrack will likely be as successful as the first one....

Not quite what I was expecting, or was originally hoping for, but it still looks rock-solid... some long-time favorites on that track list... ELO, Sweet, George Harrison, Sam Cooke, Cat Stevens--good stuff.

I'll be buyin' it!

Peter Quill's mom was into P-Funk!?

No wonder Ego took a shine to her!

You know, I'm not a big fan of (nor do I really understand) the dripping-with-ironic-love that David Hasselhoff has been getting for years now, but dammit, this track is still pretty catchy (and funny):

I love that fact that the MCU (and the Guardians section of it) is free to just let it rip and have fun!

Some of the spoilers I've read about the movie have had me grinning all day.

Just for a moment...allow yourself to picture the oh so serious DC/WB folks doing ANYTHING like having Hasselhoff do a theme song.

Just got the soundtrack off iTunes.  Every bit as great as Volume 1.  I can see myself listening to this gem as much as I did the original.

I initially thought that Awesome Mix Vol.2 was a far weaker selection but I've had it on umpteen times today so it must have something going for it. The 'new' track with The Hoff is OK, too. Not quite up to what I was expecting when someone said it was like the Guardians version of Meco's Star Wars but full marks for doing it.

Got tickets for my son and I for next weekend (I think we get it a week early in the UK) and very much looking forward to it.

Stan has apparently filmed quite a few cameos for upcoming movies because he will live forever and probably won't have time to deal with this silly nonsense in a hundred years from now.

Saw it tonight. Not as good as the first one (but what film is?), but very enjoyable.

1st viewing. Excellent. As good as the first.
There's a lot going on. Multiple viewings needed.

Enjoyed it. Good fun with some reservations.

Will say no more until it hits the States.

I think the opening credits scene was worth the price of
admission alone, lots of moments where i thought `Did
they REALLY go there for humour` but they did and it
worked! Thinking about it,i don`t recall Fox On The Run
in the actual film?
Came out of the cinema with a big smile on my face...you
can`t say that about a DC movie!

Loved it. Wonder who Marvel gave to Fox this time.

Saw it on Wednesday when it opened here in Finland. I prefer the first one's soundtrack, but other than that, I felt this is the stronger movie, though it's not a huge gap between the two.

My son and I went yesterday and both thought it was terrific. I thought it had a lot of heart and I really did give a damn about a lot of the characters. Humour was, for the most part, OK although there were a few instances where I thought it broke the mood and they, maybe, should have reigned it in a bit.

Some great easter eggs for marvelites and, for once, some end credits I was happy to watch, not just to get to any post-credit scenes.

So, overall, a plus. As big blockbusters go, easily the one I've enjoyed the most since Civil War.

7.5/10

Digging the after credit scenes. My response to one of them is, It's about damn time. My response to another is, best cameo ever.

Definitely agree. The only sequence that made me wish I'd seen it in 3D.
