Why assume that Zarathos, Satan, Lucifer, Mephisto, Dormammu, or the infernal entity of your choice was so limited that He would only bestow power in exchange for a soul to just ONE person? Frankly, if this were to occur, I would expect dozens of Ghost Riders, if not hundreds.

Dear lord, am I hoping for a Nicolas Cage cameo on this show! :D :D :D

Perhaps Cage will have to replace Robbie Reyes after he's exiled by Trump.

Oh my goodness I couldn't think of a more dreadful thing to happen to the show.

Anthony - truly? A CAMEO - and we may have already had it. Or do you not want that movie tied in to the MCU/MTU? What could be so dreadful? Well, except for your distaste - and I can assure you, you'd hardly be the only one who wants to purge those Ghost Rider movies from reality! :D

Eric, I prefer that Cage's Ghost Rider films not be connected to the MCU/MTU.

I'm all for Johnny Blaze's Ghost Rider showing up. Just not with Nicholas Cage playing the part. I wasn't a fan of him playing the part. I'd like them to recast the part and continue on with that actor in the role. Either on the big screen or on tv. My preference at this point in time is for a Netflix show.

OK, spoilers, not so much for the ending of the Ghost Rider limited series, but for the next series, LMD that's teased at the end.

What's up with that?  I think Aida can be totally evil and still wear that "operators are standing by to take your order" smile, but I'd like to believe she's on board with that LMD mission statement she quoted to serve and protect and guard men from harm.  May being the first human she's protected, and also greatly at risk on her day-to-day job, takes additional measures.

But what about the other May?  Aida building another LMD in her cupboard is... well, just a little bit more believable than being able to keep a captive in there.  There's Mace's group of congresscritters who absconded with the ranting May, but that was back when Aida wasn't dressing, so it's hard to believe she met and conspired with them, and whichever May we got back went through thorough medical scans.

I think we are supposed to infer that Aida was corrupted by reading the
Darkhold. Fitz and Radcliffe never wiped her and rebooted her with a
clean copy of her programming. So who knows what she believes or is
up to.

She'd have all the data she would need to build a copy of May from
when Radcliffe and Simmons were treating May.

Yep.

I guess my point is that I've always saw magic as something only living, organic creatures can use or be affected by. It's never made sense to me that something mechanical could wield magic.

We saw the Darkhold pages from Aida's perspective, and it was in
machine code. So they already established that the Darkhold could
interact with an AI.

Brian Miller: "...something mechanical could wield magic."

I think you've come up with a new TV show, or series of teenage sci-fi novels. Um.,.. no insult intended. :)

That is a really nifty idea, and I'm not sure it's been conceived before. I think the closest was "What If... Tony Stark were the Sorcerer Supreme" where the Iron Man armor is used to help his spell casting.

Or even a villain. "Beware the coming of... the Necromachine!"

I just finished watching the newest episode. I have to say that I'm glad that the Ghost Rider story arc is over. For some reason I just couldn't get into it and I'm glad it's over. To me, the newest episode was much better, getting back on track for what I've been enjoying from the show.  Looking forward to next week.

Last week's episode was great! Interesting twist for Director Mace. I have come to accept that the Marvel Studios world is not the Marvel Comics world which is a shame to a point. Perhaps in "reality" (vs. the comics) the comic stories cannot or may not fit in a translation to the movies/tv, but it would have been cool if AoS Mace was shown to have been around in WW2 as well. Overall the second half of this season is getting better without Ghost Rider.

I liked the Ghost Rider stuff. I hope it could lead into a spin off series. I would prefer a different Ghost Rider tho. I'd like to completely ignore the Cage movies and start fresh. A new Johnny Blaze if not than Danny Ketch would be nice.

Regarding Oswalt's return, the website says:
"It seems unlikely that Sam, Billy, and Eric (killed off in
season 1) would be identical triplets. Instead, now that
the show is dipping into the subject of LMDs. that this is
the Koenig secret."

Reminding us that the adjective "unlikely" is context
sensitive!

In the comments, someone mentions alternate universe
ounterparts; watching the teaser from last night, one could
certainly read that into it.

So, Daisy said, "Frak!" on the episode that aired in the U.S. the day that Richard Hatch died.

4 seasons in, and that word's never been used before. Weird.

Yeah I caught that. I wasn't quite sure she said "frak" it seemed a little distorted.
