The question that floats into my mind now is: do I do these pages in order, or do I jump around as I have done in the Past with my comic stories? One the one hand, doing them in order will allow for a kind of organic evolution to the minimal story thread that will hold this thing together. On the other hand, doing them out of order will prevent the final page of the book being noticeably the last page I drew (whether that's good or bad!).

As legend has it, Jack Kirby would draw scenes, out of order, and then shuffle them into story form, adding such bridging pages as were necessary. The times I have tried this, it seems to have worked quite well. Mind you, I did my whole run on FANTASTIC FOUR by starting on the first page and hoping I got where I needed to by page 22. So, altho it's nerve-racking, there is much to be said for that approach, too!

Very exciting! While I am loving New Visions, it's a thrill to see pencil and ink drawings again!

Like New Visions is it interesting to watch a project go from concept to development. Good luck with this.

We have turned up an alley marked 'Unexpected'. There is a sub-sign that says 'Intersects with Exciting'.

Look forward to hearing the developments as they are announced.

As we used to get a lot of black and white re-prints of U.S. Marvel in 70`s U.K. i have done a bit of colouring when i was a kid, very therapeutic it was too! (sitting here in defiance of the red underscore indicating i`ve spelled colouring `wrong`)

But how do you spell the four letter name of the building where bad guys are locked up?

So, we should lend weight to the opinion of some moron by allowing his criticism to sway JB's decisions on what work he chooses to produce? Screw that nonsense. The prattle from some fool doesn't hold any currency with me, and hopefully not with anyone else here.

Ah-ha!

I spell jail, but can handle gaol -- though it's a bit archaic, shall we say.
