11" x 17" illustration of The Thing and Alicia Masters, no backgrounds. The details are:- The Thing in his FF trunks as on the cover of Fantastic Four # 236 - Alicia with long hairstyle as drawn in the Fantastic Four # 236 Liddleville story (please include the black hairband) - a casual "feel-good" pose of the two - this is a companion to the following commission, but the poses are up to you: LINK

Definitely not what I was expecting based on the thread title, but brought a quick smile to my face!

BTW -- two other commissions, one with Captain America, and one with Cap and Wolverine, also got done this week, but Jim Warden stopped by yesterday to pick up some pieces, and I had a visit from Senor Moment and let him take them before they were scanned.

Hmm... Looking at this scan I am realizing I need to do something to create definition between Ben's right forearm and the inside of his leg.

I love that Ben is blushing!
JB, question: do you pencil in the Thing's plates first, or just go straight to ink?

…do you pencil in the Thing's plates first, or just go straight to ink?•• I find it's easier to lay them out in pencil first, even if I do not stick precisely to those shapes when I start inking.

Fantastic JB! This will look great hanging beside the linked commission of Jen and Wyatt. I'll have couple more commissions soon to finish up the set!
