Hi John,

I'm the happy commissioner of this Iron Fist art and I'd like to personally thank you for your incredible work.
I read IRON FIST #8 (oct 1976) "Like tigers in the night" at 9 years old about  25 years ago and this comic book had great effect on my childhood memory. The story was edited in France and as a child reader I was impressed by how you staged the fighting scene in the subway, the Iron Fist's Kung Fu movements were so fluid and well coordinated. It's a real challenge to draw a fighting scene. It's very emotional for me to have such a terrific Iron Fist art from the comic artist who marked my childhood reading. Thank you again.

Really like this one!

Is it me or is there something about subway action? Good to see our host revisiting Iron Fist.

Since we've recently revisited a couple of commissions, I've begun refreshing my memory of the humdingers we've been treated to over the years. This one has the most astonishing background.

Yes this one is really memorable, the curved elements going back in perspective is sooo impressive and the subway grim and grit texturing is top notch... the background mastery does steal the show on this one!

That grime is truly on a Tom Sutton level! Thanks for reviving this thread so I could see this.
