I was thinking a little younger and hotter. You know,
to help you break in your pool, that sort of thing.
******
OH, I thought you meant actual Dames. You know,
like how my Dad is a Lord?

Now, JB, why would I bring actual Dames! You've seen my matchmaking efforts... first hand!
Now, Knights, on the other hand... I know Sir Bob Geldof isn't doing anything lately - I'll bet Simko and I could get him to give you a hand moving... or at least to set up a show to raise funds for your move...

Well, looks like I "won" the bidding war! But to do so, I had to waive the mortgage guarantee -- which means I had to promise to take the house even if I don't get a mortgage, or I sacrifice the down payment. |

JB, how do financial institutions look at you in regards to whether or not to approve you for loans and stuff? When my wife and I bought our house, the mortgage co. looked at work history, pay stubs, etc. Is your employment history scrutinized more than normal because you're in the comic book industry? Are you considered a more risky investment?

And that, as you can imagine, is no small piece of change! Still, worth the gamble, I think |

In this case, however, since Stately Byrne Manor has a market value a fair bit higher than the house I am buying, the woman doing the mortgage negotiations for me assures me the Bank will look at the combined value of the houses and have no problem spotting a loan for less than half that much.

JB,
Do you have any photos of Stately Byrne Manor? It would be
interesting to see how big of a change you'll be making.

Oh yeah, I remember that one now. I seem to recall you saying
so, but does it look much different these days?
Thanks,

If it's not too late, I would respectfully like to suggest "The Byrne Bungalow."
However, after seeing the BACK of the place, I'm not sure the title is worthy of the house.

I am leaning, somewhat pretentiously, toward "The Aerie".After all, the house is on top of its very own cliff. Not a huge cliff -- maybe an ankle breaker -- but a cliff nevertheless! And there's always "Robot Central". I suppose.
