The end of your time was the end of my time -- hurrah for that! And for the commission. Wow!

I love that it's Marvel Girl and not Phoenix.

That piece should be in a textbook on how to draw interesting textures.

Love it!

I was just thinking about this idea last week. You had hinted at this idea a number of years ago. I was thinking it was time to get it drawn.

Congratulations to Jim and Matt!!

Ok, so checked this out in its bigger glory in the gallery and WOW!

Great textures for the dinosaur's hides, brilliant foreshortening with the sauropod, love the T-Rex's head (poor blighter catching an optic blast right in the chops!).

I can almost hear the roars looking at this.

Impressive!!

Also leaves me with a sense of melancholy, as this team of X-Men are reserved mostly to nostalgia these days. They've long since been split up and spread across a couple of dozen ongoing monthlies, never to again adventure as anything even close to the configurations represented by this swollen group (minus hordes of tacked on mutants that simply aren't as cool as these members).
