Absolutely beautiful piece, JB. Sums up an era unlike any we'll see again (IMHO).

"Is that Alicia?"

****

That's my best guess, but it is a guess. I'm not sure.

••

By a process of elimination, could she be anyone else?

++++++++++++

Took me a while to recognize Jean Grey, too.

••

Well, that just baffles me! How many women appeared in torn black dresses during my run?

I just noticed that She-Hulk is looking angrily at the sleazy magazine guy trying to take her picture as she goes by. LOL!

I love how you also saw fit to include two versions of the same character within the same piece... Blastarr, Dr. Doom, Frankie Raye, Franklin Richards, Sue Richards...
------------------------------
I'm being a little pedantic, but I see two Kristoffs and only one Doom.

It took me a while to work out it was Aunt Petunia with her hand on Alicia's shoulder...

The interactions between the characters are great. Blackbolt holding Medusa's hand, Namor sort of checking out Sue, Nick Fury collaring the Puppet Master.

MARVELOUS.

Bit of a quivering lower lip at the sight of Tommy Hanson.

Everything I love about JB's FF run is in there.

This is wonderful!  Great memories that make me want to dig out your run and read it again and again.

I’ve been an occasional lurker for a decade or two, but I had to re-surface to say this is beautiful. Byrne FF is some of my favorite comics and this rekindles a fire that didn’t really need rekindling. I’m way past the point of putting up posters in my bedroom, but I’d put this poster up in my bedroom. Some nice, old school flat colors and four tacks and up it goes. Sorry, wife, it’s going to stay.
