The relatively recent She-Hulk series were pale attempts at best. Even though it was decided that she did not actually sleep with Juggernaut, the visual was done and it was tasteless.

True. The scene with Jen and Juggernaut was a Chuck Austen bit from his run on X-Men. During his tenure on She-Hulk, Dan Slott had Jen be offended and insulted each time it was brought up, saying she had never done that. Near the end of his time on the book, Slott established that there was a group of scientists offering tourist packages on Earth-616 to the residents of Earth-A, the earth where Reed Richards became the Thing (Fantastic Four #161.) Earth-A people were given powers and could "joyride" around as their super-heroic counterparts while vacationing in the mainstream Marvel universe.

Thus, it was established that it had been the Jennifer Walters of Earth-A who had slept with the Juggernaut while she was impersonating She-Hulk.

Another great commission. I don't dislike She-Hulk but there was never enough interest to read any of her titles. This commission alone has sparked an interest, so Sensational She-Hulk here I come.

No. Those days are gone. The people Julie Schwartz called "the Archeologists" now rule the kingdom.

That sounds like a very DC explanation.

And this is a very nice Old-Marvel commission.

Unfortunately, that scene has fans who think the Juggernaut is cool for having slept with She-Hulk and She-Hulk's just like that, sleeping with anyone and everyone 'cause, y'know... that's cool, too. If you got super-powers, She-Hulk would totally sleep with you.

So good luck trying to get every creator at Marvel now and into the future to agree her encounter with the Juggernaut didn't happen and never mention it again. I wouldn't be at all surprised to learn Slott's "fix" has already been undone somehow.

As for the explanation being very DC, Earth-A has been around at Marvel since 1972. But, y'know, perception is reality and reality is, well, who cares, really?

••

Y'know. . .   STAR TREK pulled off a brilliant coup by persuading even the most jaded fans to refer to the original series as just that, the original series, not the old series.

What say we start a movement to get people doing the same for Marvel? The ORIGINAL Marvel, not the OLD Marvel.

Love this commission. I thought the romance between her and Wyatt was a great fit. Your She-Hulk will always be THE She-Hulk for me.
