Ugly for the most part. Playing gods with creatures they didn't create.

After buying almost zero Marvel comics for a decade following the SINS PAST storyline, I've found myself buying a surprising amount from them recently.  I've been all in on the new STAR WARS comics which are keeping my interest so far.  I've been very much enjoying Allred's SILVER SURFER and the ROCKET RACCOON series.  I've stayed away from the core titles (X-Men, Avengers, Spider-Man, etc) and it doesn't look like I'm going back anytime soon.

Miles Morales is Ultimate Spider-man, the
second one. He is the only thing outside
of Samuel L Jackson Nick Fury that is
popular enough that Marvel can't get rid
of him with the rest of the Ultimate Line.

What is a Miles Morales?

Miles Morales is Ultimate Spider-Man. He took up the mantle after the Ultimate Peter Parker died.

IIRC, he's half black/half Puerto Rican, and gay. I'm surprised you haven't heard of him! There was quite a bit of controversy over his debut.

Hearing that character described as "half black, half Puerto Rican" (which he consistently is) always amuses me, as lots of Puerto Ricans are black. It's like describing Spock as half Vulcan, half Federation.

He is not gay. Unless they changed that in
the last couple of months.

There were many unsubstantiated claims that Miles Morales would be gay around the time he first appeared, so it's understandable to hear people believing it if they haven't read anything about the character since then.

What I don't understand is why people working at Marvel nowadays think that draining Captain America of the super-soldier serum would age him. It was being frozen that maintained his youth, the serum simply allowed him to survive the experience.
