This month marks the 10 year anniversary of my management of the JB
Art Gallery
http://www.artofjohnbyrne.com.

Just... wow. I can't believe it's been that long. We've seen a lot of
projects over those years, and, of course, the wonderful commissions.

A few bits of trivia...

- There are nearly 6700 images spread across some 310 albums.

- The Commissions are the single biggest draw to the gallery, with hits
across the various Commission folders totaling more than all other
folders combined (Original Art, Sketches, etc.)- The most popular image
is the X-Men universe 20"x30" piece JB did on commission from Nathan
Greno titled, "When I Wore a Younger Man's Clothes" way back in 2010.

- The most popular non-commssioned image is "Marvel Heroes" pic from
The Art of John Byrne book from 1979.

- The current hit count for the gallery is well over 2,000,000 hits. Not
factored in that count are hits from the previous version of the gallery,
one major crash that reset the counts to zero, and a move to new hosting
provider, which also reset the counts to zero. If I had to estimate, I
would say there have been over 10,000,000 hits over the last 10 years.

- While I really love the commissions and the original art pieces, my
personal favorites are the pencil sketches from the late 70's and early
80's, most of which can be found with this link:

It's been a fun 10 years... I look forward to seeing what the next 10 will
bring!

Imagine if we charged a nickel a hit, Dan! Split 50/50 we'd each have a Scrooge McDuck style money bin to splash around in!

Thanks for a decade of diligence!

Thanks for all you do, Dan.

I have not seen the pencils from JB before. Pretty cool.

Thanks for curating the collection. Those bits of trivia are interesting.  I'm just part of the crowd -- the commissions are my favourite part of the gallery.

Thanks to JB for letting us into his world.

Oh, you're not in my world. Just on the doorstep. You wouldn't want to go in. It's dark in there, and your feet stick to the floor.

I still haven't made it through the entire gallery, but what a time I've
had perusing through it!
