This doesn't read like a straightforward reboot plan to me.

I would support an all-out reboot if the right people were in charge of it and writing it. They ain't.

The Marvel Universe ended years ago with X-Men The Hidden Years #22

If we could move Professor X's wheelchair, we could see the rest of the Marvel Universe marching off ahead of him into the sunset...

To paraphrase JB,  "there is now no difference between Marvel and DC."

Just when I thought that nothing could make the original SECRET WARS seem like a sensible idea, here comes SECRET WARS 2015.

Hey, that's been true since the early 1980s!

"The New DC. There's No Stopping Us Now."

To paraphrase Mr. Scott in Star Trek II, "It's dead already".

Sounds like New Marvel 52 not wait Marvel Convergence. Seems like
Marvel Watches DC and copies what they do, and DC watches Marvel
and copies them back. Is there an original idea between the two
companies?

The Marvel Comics that I used to know and love does not exist anymore. Surely the All-New "All-Different M*****"will come up with more comics that won't bring me back to buy their stuff.

Time to reread old comics and get to read those HellBoys and SinCitys and old Vertigos that I promised myself to read one day and never got to do it.

Sounds like as good a jumping off point as any to me.

Sounds pretty obvious that they just want to make their comics universe identical to their movie universe.  I supposed it was inevitable.
