There's no way I could rank these lists, other than to put JB and Kirby as 1A & 1B as favorite artists...
WRITERS Byrne Stan Lee Jack Kirby Frank Miller Will Eisner Dave Sim Marv Wolfman Jim Starlin Alan Moore Walt Simonson
ARTISTS John Byrne Jack Kirby Terry Moore Jim Starlin George Perez Wally Wood Jim Steranko Howard Chaykin Frank Miller Walt Simonson
Kind of interesting that I have so many on both lists... I probably could have put Terry Moore and Dave Sim on both as well. I have a hard time with lists like this... I always feel like I'm forgetting someone!

I can't bring myself to participate in listings like this. I find myself thinking of all those Superman and all those Batman stories that thrilled me as a child, and which were written by folks whose names we do not know, in many cases, even today.

Impossible. But I'll try.
Writers:
Stan Lee
Jack Kirby John Byrne Denny O'Neil Roy Thomas Jim Starlin Marv Wolfman Chris Claremont Frank Miller Len Wein
What? I'm already out of options? Yeesh. Ok, artists:
Neal Adams
Jack Kirby John Byrne Jim Starlin George Perez Jim Steranko Al Williamson John Buscema Frank Miller (up to the mid 1980's) Wally Wood
And now I'm out of room for artists? This isn't fair. Nope. Impossible.

Is it crazy to think that even now, it would be possible for my all-time favorite writer (Stan Lee) to do a book with my all-time favorite artist (Neal Adams)? But as far as I am aware, this coupling has never occurred. Has it?

This just felt wrong, especially in the artist list. There were so many great artists I had to drop just to narrow down to 10.
And I realized a great injustice. I don't even know if I have ever read a Stan Lee story. That can't be, can it? So guess what my next mission will be....
EDIT: Mine are listed top to bottom. Top being more fav.
Writers John Byrne Jim Shooter Roy Thomas Steve Englehart Jim Starlin Marv Wolfman Kurt Busiek Peter David Frank Miller Alan Moore
Artists John Byrne Alan Davis George Perez John Buscema Barry Windsor-Smith Bart Sears Jack Kirby Walt Simonson Dale Keown Joe Mad
I see some names on other member fav lists that I do not recognize, so my other mission is to find out more about those artists.
